We accept many types of electronic waste and other recyclable materials at no cost, making responsible recycling convenient and accessible to our community.

Our eligible no-cost recycling services remain available whether you contribute or not.
A contribution is simply an optional way to show your appreciation and help offset some of the ongoing costs involved in providing a convenient, local recycling service.

Why We Ask for Your Support
Although we don't charge for many of the materials we accept, providing responsible recycling services isn't without cost.
Eco-Tech invests in the equipment, facility, transportation, processing and labour required to handle the materials we receive.
Your optional contribution helps us continue operating and maintaining the recycling infrastructure that allows us to offer convenient, no-cost recycling to the Waterloo Region.

Yes. You can choose one of the suggested contribution amounts or enter another amount that you feel comfortable contributing.
Will I receive a charitable tax receipt?
Eco-Tech is a business and contributions to Eco-Tech are not charitable donations. We do not issue charitable tax receipts for contributions.
Does contributing give me any special benefits?
No. Contributions do not provide special treatment, discounts or preferential service. They simply help support Eco-Tech's ongoing recycling operations.
