Service Description
Eco-Tech’s Apple Product Destruction service provides a secure and reliable solution for the destruction of confidential data contained within Apple devices. For devices with soldered storage, the motherboard is removed and securely destroyed to ensure complete data removal. For devices with removable storage, the drive is physically destroyed using industry-standard methods. This service covers iPads, Apple laptops (removable or soldered storage), and iMac desktops. All materials are responsibly recycled whenever possible to support environmentally responsible e-waste management. Booking Instructions 1 - Select your Apple Product Type: iPad (CA$20), Removable Laptop Drive (CA$20), Soldered Laptop Drive (CA$35), or iMac Desktop (CA$40). 2 - If you have additional devices, select the appropriate option under “Additional Devices” and enter the correct quantity. Additional fees apply per unit depending on device type. 3 - If required, select any extra destruction services under “Extra Services” and adjust quantities accordingly. Available options include Unremoved Drive - Simple (CA$15), Unremoved Drive - Complex (CA$25), Loose HDD/SSD Destruction (CA$10), Smartphone Crunching (CA$10), iPad/Tablet/Smartphone Shredding (CA$20), and Portable/Flash Drive Shredding (CA$15). 4 - Ensure all selected quantities match the devices and materials being processed to ensure accurate scheduling, handling, and pricing. Pricing is based on a per-device basis. Volume discounts may be available for businesses and organizations requiring the destruction of multiple devices. Cancellation Policy
Eco-Tech requires payment details to be collected upfront for all booking services to secure appointments due to increased no-shows, which disrupt operations by preventing the allocation of dedicated service time. Payment details are only used to charge in the event of a no-show or failure to attend a scheduled appointment. If the client attends their booking, no payment is processed through the booking system, and payment is collected in-store at the time of service completion. For all bookings, clients are required to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice, including no-shows, may result in a $20 cancellation fee only. The full service fee will not be charged in cases of no-show or late cancellation. This policy is intended to support efficient scheduling and fair allocation of service time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide consistent and quality service.
