Service Description
Eco-Tech Waterloo provides secure Data Destruction Services for hard drives, SSDs, smartphones, laptops, desktops, and Apple devices. We destroy storage devices whether they are provided loose or remain installed inside a computer, laptop, smartphone, or other device. Booking Instructions Select Your Storage Device Choose the storage device or device containing the storage device you would like destroyed. Add Additional Devices For multiple devices, select the appropriate type(s) under Additional Devices and enter the quantity. Select Extra Services Select any additional services required, including Computer Diagnosis, iPad/Tablet/Smartphone Shredding, MP3 Player/Portable Drive Shredding, Supervised Document Shredding, or Document Shredding. Enter Quantities Enter the correct quantity for each selected device and service. Important: Accurate selections ensure correct pricing, scheduling, and handling. Our Process We use NSA-approved destruction equipment and strict security procedures. Our trained technicians can destroy loose storage devices or remove and destroy drives installed inside computers, laptops, and other equipment. We also handle complex drive removals and legacy Apple systems, including pre-2012 MacBooks and iMacs. Clients may witness destruction on-site for transparency and peace of mind. Physical destruction permanently eliminates data with no possibility of recovery. Standard pricing is per unit. Large-volume and commercial projects may qualify for tailored pricing. Cancellation Policy
Eco-Tech requires payment details to be collected upfront for all booking services to secure appointments due to increased no-shows, which disrupt operations by preventing the allocation of dedicated service time. Payment details are only used to charge in the event of a no-show or failure to attend a scheduled appointment. If the client attends their booking, no payment is processed through the booking system, and payment is collected in-store at the time of service completion. For all bookings, clients are required to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice, including no-shows, may result in a $20 cancellation fee only. The full service fee will not be charged in cases of no-show or late cancellation. This policy is intended to support efficient scheduling and fair allocation of service time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide consistent and quality service.
