Service Description
Eco-Tech offers computer diagnostic and on-site IT support for non-Apple desktops and laptops. On-site service also assists businesses with common printer issues, including printing, connection, setup, and configuration. Please note: We can assist with basic connectivity issues such as Wi-Fi and printer connection problems. Advanced networking, network infrastructure, router/firewall configuration, Wi-Fi dead-zones, NAS systems, and storage solutions are not included. Service Options $20 Standard Diagnostic (Up to 3 business days) – Non-urgent issues $40 Next Business Day Diagnostic – Priority assessment $60 Same-Day Diagnostic – Urgent assessment (drop-off before 12 PM) $120 On-site Support – Technician visit within K-W Important: The $20, $40, and $60 fees cover diagnosis only. Repairs and additional technical work are billed separately at $50/hour, 1-hour minimum. Example: A $20 Standard Diagnostic plus 1 hour of labour totals $70 + HST. Additional Options $50 Hourly IT Support – 1 Hr Minimum $20 Additional Desktop Computer $20 Additional Laptop Computer $40 Outside of K-W – Per additional 15 km outside K-W Extra Services $40 Windows Password Reset (non-BitLocker) $40 Linux OS Installation $200 Windows 11 25H2 Upgrade Windows password reset applies to standard non-BitLocker cases. BitLocker or advanced recovery may require additional charges. Booking Instructions Under "Select Service Type," choose Standard, Next Day, Same Day, or On-site Support. For On-site Support, the $120 fee covers the visit. Labour is billed separately at $50/hour, 1-hour minimum. Select "Hourly IT Support – 1 Hr Minimum." Do not select a diagnostic option. If unsure which service or options to select, contact us before booking. We can provide a general estimate, although actual service time may vary. For additional computers, select the applicable desktop or laptop option. For locations outside K-W, select "Outside of K-W." A $40 surcharge applies per additional 15 km outside our standard service area. For Linux OS Installation or Windows 11 25H2 Upgrade, select the applicable option under "Extra Services." Our IT team includes a CompTIA A+ and Network+ certified IT specialist with over 20 years of hands-on IT experience. Please select the correct options and quantities when booking to ensure accurate pricing and scheduling.
Cancellation Policy
Eco-Tech requires payment details to be collected upfront for all booking services to secure appointments due to increased no-shows, which disrupt operations by preventing the allocation of dedicated service time. Payment details are only used to charge in the event of a no-show or failure to attend a scheduled appointment. If the client attends their booking, no payment is processed through the booking system, and payment is collected in-store at the time of service completion. For all bookings, clients are required to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice, including no-shows, may result in a $20 cancellation fee only. The full service fee will not be charged in cases of no-show or late cancellation. This policy is intended to support efficient scheduling and fair allocation of service time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide consistent and quality service.
