For just $40 per computer—Intel, AMD, or Apple—Eco-Tech will install Linux, the modern, secure alternative to Windows. Linux offers strong privacy, improved performance, and reliable alternative applications, allowing you to reduce bloat, improve speed, and extend the life of your device. Book your installation today! Booking Instructions When booking this service, please select the Linux installation package that best matches your requirements. If you have additional computers requiring Linux installation or software setup services, select the appropriate option under the "Additional Computers" section and enter the correct quantity. If you also require a Windows 11 25H2 Upgrade, scroll down to the "Extra Services" section and select the applicable option. Please enter the correct quantity for each selected service. Accurate selections ensure proper scheduling, resource allocation, and pricing. Service Includes Full hardware health check to ensure compatibility and system readiness. Installation of a Linux distribution such as Ubuntu, Fedora, or Linux Mint. Hardware Recommendations Older hard drives should be upgraded to SSD for best performance. Minimum 8GB RAM is required, while 16GB is recommended for optimal speed and future-proofing. Cancellation Policy
Eco-Tech requires payment details to be collected upfront for all booking services to secure appointments due to increased no-shows, which disrupt operations by preventing the allocation of dedicated service time. Payment details are only used to charge in the event of a no-show or failure to attend a scheduled appointment. If the client attends their booking, no payment is processed through the booking system, and payment is collected in-store at the time of service completion. For all bookings, clients are required to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice, including no-shows, may result in a $20 cancellation fee only. The full service fee will not be charged in cases of no-show or late cancellation. This policy is intended to support efficient scheduling and fair allocation of service time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide consistent and quality service.
