Service Description

Our Pickup Service provides secure document shredding and business e-waste collection. Select the appropriate vehicle based on the amount of documents or e-waste you need picked up. Document shredding: Residential & business. E-waste pickup: Business only. Pickup days: Monday–Friday only. Although our booking calendar may show weekend dates, pickup services are not available on weekends. Service Requirements Starting rates apply to ground-level materials within 25 ft of an accessible loading area or exit. Extra charges may apply for materials over 25 ft away, elevators, locations outside K-W, additional travel, or extra materials. The 25-ft charge covers moving materials on your property. Travel charges are separate and based on approximate round-trip distance from Eco-Tech Waterloo. Outside K-W / Travel CA$40 per 15 km outside the included 15 km. Example: New Hamburg is approximately 60 km round trip. 15 km is included, leaving 45 km chargeable. 45 ÷ 15 = 3 × CA$40 = CA$120 travel surcharge. Booking Instructions 1. Select vehicle: Hybrid — CA$80 (10 boxes / 250 lbs) Pickup Truck — CA$120 (36 boxes / 900 lbs) 20-Foot Truck — CA$160 (450 boxes / 12,000 lbs) 2. Select applicable add-ons for on-site distance, elevators, outside K-W, travel or other services. 3. Shredding boxes: CA$10 per 25-lb box. Round up to the nearest whole box. Skip if not required. 4. Recycling certificates: No serials — CA$20. Serials — CA$10 per unit. 5. Services not listed must be arranged separately. Payment & Adjustments Customers must provide accurate vehicle, quantities, access, distance and add-ons, regardless of payment method. If actual requirements differ, a separate invoice will be issued. When paying online, you enter your credit card details during booking, but Eco-Tech cannot see or access those details. Therefore, they cannot be used for additional charges. Additional invoices must be paid online using new payment details, or by providing a credit card in person or by phone. Save on Payment Save CA$0.50 per unit by paying via e-transfer, company cheque, EFT, or by calling us with a credit card. If unsure about your requirements, contact Eco-Tech before booking.
